I fell off the wagon!

So I took a nose dive off of the blogging wagon lately....BUT I AM BACK. Everything has been going great in the Daniel home. The holidays were wonderful with Cooper. He enjoyed every bit of it and loved all of his gifts and attention from everyone who loves him. He is starting to walk now and has mastered about 10 steps at a time and stands on his own without pulling up on anything. It is amazing how fast they grow up.

Unfortunately Rhett's grandfather, better known as Papaw, passed away a couple of weeks ago and that was hard. We were however thankful we were able to get the entire family together to spend some quality time. It was mass chaos but Cooper loved it. We are thankful to have such a big and loving family.

I am attaching a few pictures. One is of Rhetts parents, Cooper and his 8 cousins and the others are of him being Biker Baby! Rhett and I are so lucky to have such an adoreable little boy! Enjoy!

Happy Halloween!

Cooper had the best Halloween. I almost cried every time I looked at him because I can't believe a baby this cute could be mine! He continues to make me melt more and more every day. We went trick or treating at Aunt Lou and Uncle Ty's and it really was a family event. It was Lindsey, Tyler, my mom, Rhett's parents, Rhett and me. We looked a little silly walking around getting candy for a kid that can't eat it but it was really fun. This kid might be loved more than any other. Enjoy the pictures. I am not sure how I will top this next year but I will find a way.

Californ-I-A

Rhett had to go to California on business last week so I flew out on Thursday for a long weekend. We had so much fun but we came home to a sick child :-( God bless Grandma C, Auntie Lou Lou and Uncle Ty for putting up with all the bodily fluids (to put it in a nice way). We appreciate all you do and Cooper is very lucky to be loved by so many people! Here are a few pictures from our vacation.

Pumpkin Patch

Daddy is out of town so Mackenzie and I took all three of the boys to the pumpkin patch. We thought it would be great and we would get some great pictures but once we got there, the boys really didn't like it. Here are a couple of pictures I got with my camera. Mackenzie got the best ones and all of the ones of the boys together so once I get those, I will post them.

New Pictures

The first picture is a picture of Cooper when Rhett was in NYC for work. He really missed him. The next two are of Cooper in his Ohio State hat (which is one of my favorite baby gifts). the last two are just funny ones I took of Cooper for Rhett to see when he was gone. I tell you, I give props to single moms. It is not easy to do everything while Rhett is out of town. It makes me feel very lucky to have him around.

Cooper and Hutson

Here are some pictures of little Cooper and Hutson Grace playing at Jamie's house. Cooper was trying to steamroll her and just didn't understand why that was so wrong. Sorry Jamie and Russ, my son is already trying to get on top of your daughter. I am expecting Russ to be polishing his shot gun in a few years to keep him away from her.
I think in the last picture, she is loving on him a little too! Either that or she is just falling over :-)

Updates...

Oh the things that have happened in the last few weeks! I took Cooper to the doctor because he had a stomach virus (another story in itself) and had another doctor look at his neck. This would be the third doctor and is a very trusted family friend. He confirmed that it is NOTHING to worry about and he would wait to do surgery until he absolutely has to have it. In his words, "He could be 15 years old when it comes out." That made me happy!

A lot of things have happened in the last couple of weeks as far as milestones. Cooper is officially on his hands and knees rocking back and fourth. Crawling is only a few days away. He has also learned to hold a bottle and feed himself. He had his first haircut from daddy to cut off his mullet and Donald Trump comb over. He sat very still and looks like a little man. It is amazing how fast he is growing up and I am having a bit of a hard time adjusting to him not being completely dependent on me. I will get over it though.
Cooper attended his first Razorback game and did a fantastic job. He was a huge hit and was passed around the box all night. He was such a trooper given all the fireworks, flyovers and screaming men! He is partial to the hog call and fight song since daddy played it while he was in mommy's tummy for him.

Mommy had her high school reunion this weekend and Grandma "C", Auntie Lou Lou and Uncle Ty watched him all weekend. He was very good and we are thankful to have them all so close!

I think that is all the updates I have at this point. Stay tuned...
